In a recent crackdown on anti-social behaviour, two individuals have been apprehended by Scottish police in Ayrshire. The initiative was led by officers from the Annick Locality Policing Team in Stewarton. During the operation, a 30-year-old man and a 17-year-old boy came under suspicion, leading to one being charged and the other arrested.
The 30-year-old was charged with alleged licensing offences, specifically for selling alcohol to a minor under the age of 18. A report will be presented to the Procurator Fiscal for further action. On the other hand, the 17-year-old boy was arrested for attempting to pervert the course of justice.
