Santa Claus is making his way back to Wishaw this holiday season, thanks to the Rotary Club. The jolly man in red will be spreading Christmas cheer on December 16, starting his journey at Tesco Express on Coltness Road.
The Rotary Santa Sleigh will kick off the festive fun at the supermarket car park from 5.30pm to around 6.15pm. From there, Santa will embark on a magical sleigh ride through Wishaw, making several stops to meet children and families along the way.
His route will take him through Coltness Road, North Kilmeny Crescent, Newark Drive, Innerleithen Drive, Kilmeny Crescent, Traquair Drive, Stobo Street, Greenlaw Avenue, Waverley Drive, Dryburgh Road, and finally to Melrose Crescent opposite the swing park. Each stop will be a chance for the community to greet Santa and bask in the holiday spirit.
After his visit to Wishaw, Santa will return to the North Pole to prepare for his worldwide journey on Christmas Eve, ensuring that all children receive their special gifts.
This festive tradition is a delightful way for families in Wishaw to come together and celebrate the magic of Christmas. The Rotary Club’s initiative is a heartwarming gesture that brings joy and excitement to the community during the holiday season.
As the holiday season approaches, the return of Santa’s sleigh to Wishaw is a much-anticipated event that will surely bring smiles to children’s faces and create lasting memories for families in the area.
