A 22-wheeler Freeway Cola truck is set to bring Christmas gifts and festive cheer to Rutherglen as it rolls into the town. The tour, which has already drawn in over 10,000 eager spectators, features the transformation of the beloved Lidl Freeway drink into a massive 15-tonne, 20-metre long, and five-metre high truck. Visitors at the Rutherglen store will have the chance to receive present boxes filled with goodies from the middle aisle, with some lucky ones finding Golden Tickets worth £100 for their festive food shopping at Lidl.
In addition to the presents, visitors can also indulge in a variety of tasty treats including panettone, snowmallow, alcohol-free mulled wine, and festive chutneys. A Magical Wish-mas Booth offers the opportunity to make Christmas wishes, while a Secret Boxes activation promises everyone a chance to win Lidl Plus goodies.
