Organised by Crieff Community Council, the festival aims to showcase the town’s culinary delights and boost its profile as a vibrant destination.
A spokesperson for the Crieff Community Council expressed excitement about the event, highlighting it as a significant initiative among various regeneration projects in the town. The support from local businesses has been tremendous, setting the stage for a successful inaugural food festival. Plans for next year already include encouraging more traders and caterers to participate and further enhance the town’s culinary scene.
The festival programme boasts a diverse range of activities, including a pizza-making session for children and offerings like oysters, lobster bisque, gin, whisky, rum, beer, pickles, preserves, coffee, bread, tapas, chilli con carne, and traditional sweet treats. Attendees can also look forward to engaging talks, presentations, film screenings, cookery classes, workshops, and themed dining experiences at various venues throughout the town.
