The three-year-old from Kirkintilloch, who is waiting for a small bowel and liver transplant, was surprised by players from both the Rangers men’s and women’s team during their annual festive visit. Despite battling an infection at the Royal Hospital for Children in Glasgow, Zachary’s spirits were lifted as First team stars Nico Raskin, Hamza Igamane, and Danilo made his day brighter by stopping by to say hello.
The visit meant the world to Zachary and his family, especially his Rangers-supporting dad Rhys, who dreams of taking the young boy to a game at Ibrox Stadium in the future. Mum Jade expressed their gratitude, sharing, “It was amazing for Zachary to meet all the players. He was so happy to see them. The players gave him and his little brother Reuben a signed shirt and a mini-ball. They were all brilliant with him, a couple of them have even followed his page on Instagram and shared his post.” The family was thrilled by the special experience and the exposure that Zachary’s story is receiving.

Jade mentioned, “He’d love to take Zachary to a game one day, that’s a dream of ours.
