Neil McAllister expressed his gratitude for the community’s support, saying, “It’s been a good year for the collection and we had 630-odd, and we hope it gets better every year.” The selection boxes were distributed to schools and nurseries in the area, including James Aiton Primary, Westburn Nursery, Cairns Primary and Nursery, and Cathkin Primary.
