An evil couple has been sentenced to 100 years in prison after horrifically abusing their two adopted sons. William Zulock, 34, and Zachary Zulock, 36, have been deemed ineligible for parole after pleading guilty to charges including aggravated sodomy, child molestation, incest, and sexual exploitation of children. The Zulocks operated in a suburban Atlanta home described as a “house of horror” by prosecutors, where they carried out their abhorrent acts.
The couple adopted their sons, aged 10 and 12, from a Christian special-needs agency in 2018 and portrayed themselves as loving fathers on social media. However, behind the facade, they forced their boys to engage in sexual activities, recording the abuse to share with a paedophile ring. Shocking evidence revealed that they also allowed other men from the ring to abuse the boys.
Their crimes came to light in 2022 when a member of the paedophile ring was apprehended for downloading child abuse images and disclosed the Zulocks’ heinous activities. Investigators found extensive incriminating evidence in the form of surveillance footage, messages, and videos documenting the abuse, totalling more than seven terabytes.
At the sentencing, District Attorney Randy McGinley condemned the couple’s actions as “as dark as it gets” and commended the young boys, now in foster care, for their role in ensuring justice was served. William and Zachary Zulock were each sentenced to serve 100 years in prison without the possibility of parole, followed by a lifetime of probation. McGinley highlighted the resolve of those seeking justice against the couple’s unimaginable depravity.
Moving forward, the boys are now in better care, away from the torment they endured. The case serves as a stark reminder of the dangers vulnerable children may face and the importance of swift and decisive action in combatting such egregious crimes.
