A Dumbarton mum has broken a record by gathering over £200 worth of shopping in just 60 seconds during a Supermarket Sweep style store dash. Carrieann McKinley and her friend Sheena Duncanson participated in the Snappy Shopper challenge at One Stop Partick on Dumbarton Road in Glasgow. The challenge involved grabbing as many items as possible within the time limit, with Snappy Shopper covering the cost of their baskets.
Carrieann, who was nominated by her sister Sandra, managed to collect goods totaling £323, with her basket alone valued at £198. Her impressive haul included 31 bags of sweets and seven chocolate sharing tubs, which she plans to share with her large family.
