‘Loving family man’ tragically killed in Christmas Day crash on a Scottish road has been identified as local resident David Buckley. The 60-year-old biker lost his life in a collision between his grey Moto Guzzi V100 motorcycle and a red Audi A7, driven by a 72-year-old man, on the A811 near Stirling. The incident occurred between the King’s Knot roundabout and Kippen Station roundabout, prompting a police appeal for witnesses.

Following the devastating crash on December 25 at around 2pm, David Buckley was pronounced dead at the scene, while the Audi driver sustained minor injuries and was taken to Forth Valley Royal Hospital. Investigations led to a temporary closure of the road for approximately 10 hours as authorities sought to understand the circumstances surrounding the collision. Officials are urging anyone with information, especially the driver of a white Dacia Duster seen in the vicinity at the time, to come forward.
