A 23-year-old man has been charged with murder following the death of a woman in a car crash in Falkirk, as reported by the Daily Record. The accused, Arsian Sajid, from London, was arrested at Stansted International Airport on December 27 and appeared in Falkirk Sheriff Court on December 30. He faced various charges related to the incident, including murder, attempted murder, and road traffic offences. This arrest marks the fourth person to be charged in connection with the tragic crash that took the life of Amy Rose Wilson, aged 27. The incident occurred on July 29, 2023, when Ms. Wilson’s silver Vauxhall Vectra collided with a Volkswagen Tiguan on New Carron Road.
Three other individuals have also been charged in relation to the incident, with Anthony Davidson, Andrew Gregorie, and Steven Hornsby facing different charges to be addressed in court. Following Sajid’s appearance in court, where he was remanded in custody, Police Scotland expressed condolences to Amy’s family and friends and highlighted that investigations are ongoing. The passenger in Ms. Wilson’s car, a 22-year-old man, was hospitalised following the crash and subsequently arrested for an unrelated matter.
