CCTV images have been released in a desperate search for a missing Scottish man who was last seen at a train station. John McNeil, aged 52, was reported missing in Perth on Sunday, 29 December. The last sighting of him was in the St Catherine’s Road area around 9 pm on Friday, 27 December. It is believed that he left Perth Railway Station shortly before this and headed towards the city centre. John is described as white, approximately 5ft 10 inches tall with an average build and short grey hair. At the time he was last seen, he was wearing a work-style navy jacket, navy trousers, a light blue shirt, navy tie, and black shoes. He may also have been wearing a dark-coloured hat and carrying a rucksack.
His family is deeply concerned, and extensive efforts are underway to locate him. Inspector Kris McCall mentioned, “We have a dedicated team of officers working to trace John and have now released two new images of him from the last time he was seen.” McCall added, “It is very unlike John not to be in touch with his family and friends, and, as time passes, our concern is growing.
