The South Ayrshire Council received a planning application for a change of use of an agricultural shed to accommodate the new venture. The proposal includes converting the shed into a livery stable, creating an external riding arena, parking facilities, placing a temporary caravan, and widening vehicular access. The land identified for this development is situated at Laigh Grange, Minishant, along the A77 from Main Road, Minishant, to the A77 Maybole Bypass Roundabout.
The application was facilitated by Donna Kennedy from DKAD, with Victoria Howard from Alloway representing Deer Valley Equestrian as the applicant. The site purchased in September 2023 spans 20 acres of mixed grazing and woodland, featuring a small drainage channel. Currently, the business serves ten private livery clients and three field livery clients, with a caravan onsite for essential facilities and emergencies.
