His parents, Katie and Jonny Glover, expressed their joy at the early arrival of their baby boy at the Simpson’s Centre for Reproductive Health at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh. Katie shared, “We are over the moon with the arrival of our baby boy!”
Meanwhile, in Fife, Amelia Kelsey was born at Victoria Hospital in Kirkcaldy at 5:04 am to first-time parents David, 35, and Emma, 27, weighing 8lb2. In Ayrshire, Jade and John Guthrie celebrated the birth of their son Caleb, Ayrshire’s first arrival of the year, at 1:45 am in Ayrshire Maternity Unit at University Hospital Crosshouse. Another baby boy, born to Hayley Barclay and Rhian Baird from Irvine at 2:44 am, became a little brother to two-year-old sister Riley.
Further north in Fairlie, Jane and Toby Lindo welcomed a baby boy at 3:22 am. In Kilmarnock, Sophie Leigh Wallace and Stephanie Traynor were delighted to introduce their firstborn son, Kai Ian Oscar Traynor, at 4:55 am. In Aberdeen, Charlotte and Charlie Anthony greeted baby boy Gabriel at 1:47 am, weighing 9lbs 4oz.
