Police in Castle Douglas have launched an appeal for information following a serious assault that took place on Wallace Court late on Thursday night. The incident, which involved a 38-year-old man, resulted in the victim being taken to Dumfries and Galloway Royal Infirmary for treatment of serious injuries.
Three men, aged 29, 39, and 49 have been arrested in connection with the assault, and investigations are currently ongoing. Detective Inspector Scott Wilson has urged anyone with information regarding the incident to come forward, particularly those who may have dash-cam or private CCTV footage that could assist in the investigation.
