A beloved children’s store in Bathgate is preparing to shut its doors after serving the community for more than a decade. Kidzeco, located on George Street, has announced its closure at the end of January due to the expiration of its lease agreement. The store took to social media to share the news, expressing deep regret over the closure despite efforts to negotiate a new lease with the landlord.
In a statement, Kidzeco mentioned, “After nearly 15 years of being rooted in the heart of the Bathgate community, we have reached the end of our lease term.” The store’s last day of operation will be on Friday, January 31st. While classes will continue until the closing date, the store will no longer accept donations. However, Kidzeco reassured customers that its Livingston store and Kidz n Kin will remain open for business.
