Castle Douglas food project benefits by more than £1,300 thanks to walking challenge

Park life has helped raise over £1,300 for a community project in Castle Douglas. Max Pohlendt successfully completed 1,000 laps of Burghfield Park, covering a distance of about 450km. The funds raised from this walking challenge were donated to Stepping Stones Community Larder and Food Bank in the region.
