A petrol station worker in Dumbarton has been left deeply upset following an incident where a gang of teenagers stole alcohol and threatened her. Detectives are now on a hunt for the group of teenagers, believed to be between the ages of 15 and 18, who carried out the theft at a petrol station on Glasgow Road.
The theft took place at around 4.30pm on Sunday, January 12. The group of teenagers made off with alcohol from the petrol station, leaving the staff member feeling distressed. The police are appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident or saw the group of teenagers in the area to come forward with information.
The teenagers involved in the theft are described as wearing various types of clothing, including hooded tops, jackets, and trainers. One of the males had a Nike logo on his clothing, while another wore a blue ‘Represent’ hooded top. The group was last seen leaving the scene in an unknown direction.
Detective Constable Jack Muir reassured the local community that the police are actively investigating the incident and are determined to locate the individuals responsible. He urged anyone with information, dashcam footage, or CCTV footage from the area to reach out to the authorities.
