Glasgow Airport is gearing up to host its annual jobs fair, offering a whopping 1,000 job opportunities. Scheduled for Friday, January 17, the event will feature representation from over 35 employers situated across the airport’s campus. Job seekers can explore a diverse range of roles in security, retail, facilities management, catering, ground handling, and transportation at The Academy Suite within The Holiday Inn at Glasgow Airport from 10 am to 6 pm.
The jobs fair drew nearly 2,000 attendees last year and will welcome recruitment teams from various airport-based and affiliated partners. Companies such as fire service provider FALCK, ground handlers Swissport and Menzies, security specialists ICTS, and catering specialists Select Service Partners (SSP) will be present. Airlines like Loganair and Jet2, special assistance providers OCS, as well as facilities management company ABM, will also be on hand at the fair.
Furthermore, McGill’s Buses will be recruiting for trainee and public service vehicle (PSV) driver positions, while airport retailers like Avolta and travel agents Barrhead Travel and Hays Travel will participate.
