Police in Cambuslang are appealing for witnesses after a man allegedly set fire to a flat and jumped from a balcony. The incident occurred on Mills Road at around 4.05pm on Thursday, January 16, following reports of an assault. Two females, aged 16 and 41, were reportedly assaulted in a property on the street and were later taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment before being discharged.
Following the assault, the man barricaded himself inside the flat and proceeded to set fire to the property.
