Annual Run NL Nite Lite Run Dark Event Returns to Coatbridge’s Drumpellier Country Park
Excitement is building as the annual Run NL Nite Lite Run Dark event is set to take place at Drumpellier Country Park in Coatbridge on March 21. This year, organisers are thrilled to announce that they are extending a warm welcome to young runners for the first time at the Nite Lite Run Dark 10k event.
In a new initiative called the Youth Series Offer, participants aged between 11 to 15 will have the exclusive opportunity to take part in a new 5k chip-timed route event. This addition aims to engage and encourage the next generation of runners to join in the fun.
Participants signing up for the Youth Series will not only be able to enjoy the Nite Lite Run Dark 5k event but also gain access to the Cumbernauld 5k and Santa Dash 5k races. Meanwhile, those aged 16 and over can participate in the Adult Series, granting them access to the Nite Lite Run Dark 10k and Cumbernauld 10k events.
Both the Adult and Youth Series packages offer participants the chance to compete for first, second, and third place in various categories, vying for the best average times across the events and unique prizes for the winners.
