Hamilton Church Set to Host Wedding-Themed Escape Room Challenge
Hamilton Old Parish Church in Scotland is gearing up to host a unique escape room experience with a wedding theme just in time for Valentine’s Day. The event, titled “When Harry Met Winnie,” will take place on Friday, February 7, at the historic venue. The church, which dates back to the 18th century, is the oldest building in Hamilton still in use for its original purpose. With its historical features and atmospheric surroundings, including a graveyard, the church provides the perfect backdrop for the mystery puzzle event.
This is not the first time Hamilton Old Parish Church has dabbled in hosting escape room challenges. Following the success of a similar event last year, the creative congregation decided to bring back the immersive experience for the local community. Participants will work together in teams to solve a series of clues and riddles to uncover the truth about a particular wedding that may or may not have taken place within the church’s walls.
