Following closely on the heels of Storm Eowyn, which claimed the lives of two individuals and left thousands without power across the UK, Storm Herminia is expected to bring heavy rain and strong winds, posing a significant risk to life.
The Scottish Environmental Protection Agency (SEPA) has raised concerns about potential flooding in areas such as West Luce Bay South in Wigtownshire and Loch Ryan near Stranraer in Dumfries and Galloway.
