Residents in Stirling whose brown bins were missed on Friday are advised to place them at the kerbside on Wednesday, January 29, for collection before Sunday, February 2. To prevent further disruption, glass boxes that were due for collection on Friday will not be picked up from individual households until the next scheduled collection. Instead, temporary “community glass recycling bins” will be available for residents to dispose of glass at specific locations across the area.
The areas where residents can find these temporary glass recycling bins include the Alpha Centre in Fallin, Cowie Community Centre, and other designated spots in Plean, Bannockburn, Kippen, Strathblane Parish Church, Gargunnock, Fintry, Buchlyvie, Aberfoyle, and Balfron. Glass recycling is also available at Lower Polmaise, Callander, and Balfron recycling centres.
