The £73 million investment will see the development of 250 new social housing units, including a mix of three and four-bedroom family homes, along with below-market rent properties. A spokesperson from Wheatley Homes stated, “Plans for the £100 million transformation of Wyndford are taking a major step forward with the date announced for the demolition of three blocks.”
The demolition operation will be carried out by Safedem, a reputable company with extensive experience in such projects globally. To ensure the safety and minimal disruption of the process, an exclusion zone will be in effect around the demolition site and surrounding residences on the day of the demolition.
