Hospitality staff in Lanarkshire are in for a treat as they are set to receive a portion of a £125,000 profit share scheme. Manorview employees, including those from four Lanarkshire venues, learned the outcome of this year’s Heartcount scheme at a special celebration event.
A total of 476 workers who have been with Manorview for at least 12 months will share nearly £125,000 from this year’s profit scheme. The funds will be distributed based on the hours worked by each staff member over the year, rather than on job titles or pay grades. Manorview, with 12 venues across central Scotland, runs this scheme to share 10% of its net profits with its employees since 2017.
The company’s venues in Lanarkshire include Cornhill Castle in Biggar, the Torrance Hotel in East Kilbride, the Commercial Hotel in Wishaw, and Innishmohr in Coatbridge, among others. The scheme aims to recognise the contributions of all staff members, regardless of their roles within the company.
The announcement of this year’s profit share amount was made at a celebration event at Glasgow venue SWG3, hosted by Edward Reid, a local star. The event featured various performances and activities to celebrate the hard work of Manorview’s staff members.
Dani Fraser, the Head of People at Manorview, expressed pride in the profit share scheme, highlighting that fairness is at the core of the company’s values. The event also included updates on the company’s charity, Manorview Foundation, and plans for the refurbishment of Bothwell Bridge hotel, which is expected to create new job opportunities in the area.
