Two men on horses made an unexpected entrance into a chip shop in Wales, much to the surprise of customers. The amusing incident was caught on camera by a chip shop customer, Gabe Godbeer, during the Porthcawl Elvis Festival.
The 22-year-old Godbeer, who used to work at the chip shop, witnessed the two men in cowboy hats attempting to order food while sitting on horseback outside Finnegan’s in town. “The first horse made my head fly off, never mind two of them,” Godbeer remarked about the unusual sight.
Reflecting on the bizarre encounter, Godbeer mentioned, “Working there, you do see some things behind that counter. I thought I’d seen it all but this topped anything I’d ever seen.” Despite their efforts, it seems like the two horse-riding visitors did not manage to get served at the takeaway.
The light-hearted incident brought a moment of amusement to the town and left spectators entertained by the unexpected sight of men on horseback trying to order from a chip shop. Such quirky occurrences add a touch of humour to daily life and leave lasting memories for those fortunate enough to witness them.
