The commencement of improvement works on a section of the A85 has been delayed by four days, leading to overnight road closures for drivers. Initially scheduled to start on Wednesday, February 5, the resurfacing works on the A85, east of Lochawe, will now kick off on Sunday, February 9. These works, conducted by BEAR Scotland on behalf of Transport Scotland, aim to enhance the road’s durability and resilience against harsh weather conditions, ultimately ensuring safer travel for road users.
During the project, overnight road closures will be in effect from Sunday, February 9, to the morning of Friday, February 14.
