Five people have been injured as a car intentionally drove into a crowd outside a popular Birmingham nightclub during Freshers’ Week. The incident took place at The Tunnel Club on Livery Street around 3 am on Friday morning. Police responded to reports of a disturbance involving a group and found five injured individuals, one of whom sustained severe injuries. All the injured parties were taken to the hospital for treatment.
A spokesperson from West Midlands Police stated that they are investigating the incident as a targeted attack, with suspicions that the victims were deliberately struck by the vehicle.
