Firefighters team up with farmers and digger to rescue cow from sinkhole
A heartwarming rescue mission took place in a Cumbrian field when a cow named Cinnamon fell into a sinkhole. The crew detailed the situation, stating that they mobilised to reports of a cow stuck in a sinkhole, where they found the young cow trapped at the bottom. With the farmer and heavy plant operators on site, the rescuers worked diligently to dig around the animal and utilised specialist equipment for animal rescue to successfully extract Cinnamon from the sinkhole, unharmed. The cow was aptly rescued in “moooooving circumstances,” the firefighters added with a touch of humour.
