Strictly 2024 leaderboard: The scores from week three of the BBC dance competition

Strictly Come Dancing viewers were treated to a dazzling display of talent during week three of the BBC dance competition, as the celebrity contestants took to the dance floor for Movie Week on Saturday (5 October). The competition has been fierce, with last week’s frontrunners, former Love Islander Tasha Ghouri and her dance partner Aljaž Škorjanec, maintaining their lead on the leaderboard with impressive performances, despite the scores being incredibly close.

One of the standout moments of the evening was a “magical tribute” to Dame Maggie Smith, featuring a performance by comedian Sarah Hadland and Vito Coppola. The show also made history with TV medic Dr. Punam Krishan delivering the first-ever Bollywood routine to the Indian classic “Bhole Chudiye” from the drama and musical movie Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham. Alongside Hadland and Shayne Ward, Krishan impressed the judges and secured a strong position on the leaderboard with a total score of 33. On the other end of the spectrum, Toyah Wilcox and Paul Merson found themselves at the bottom of the list with scores of 15 and 19 respectively.

The leaderboard for week three featured some intense competition, with each couple putting their best foot forward to impress the judges and viewers alike.
