Hollywood actor Keanu Reeves managed to escape unscathed after a spin-out during his professional racing debut at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. The 60-year-old star took part in the Toyota GR Cup, a spec-racing series, as a support event for the Indy 8 Hour sports car race over the weekend.
Reeves encountered a close call when he spun into the grass without making contact with other cars while exiting Turn 9 halfway through the 45-minute race. Despite the incident, he continued driving and signalled that he had not sustained any injuries. During the race, Reeves climbed as high as 21st place before eventually qualifying in 31st place out of 35 cars.
