Jennifer Lawrence shares reason behind endorsement for 2024 presidential election

Jennifer Lawrence has announced her endorsement for the 2024 presidential election, throwing her support behind democratic nominees Kamala Harris and Tim Walz. The 34-year-old actor expressed her reasons for backing the candidates, highlighting the crucial issue of abortion rights.

Speaking to People magazine, Lawrence emphasised that “abortion is on the ballot” and commended Vice President Harris for her dedication to protecting reproductive rights. She stressed the importance of preventing any White House entry by individuals aiming to restrict access to abortion. Lawrence’s endorsement aligns her with other celebrities like Taylor Swift, who also declared her support for Harris and Walz following the presidential debate.
