Kristen Bell makes surprising revelation about Gossip Girl

Kristen Bell, known for her role as the voice of “Gossip Girl” on the hit TV show, has recently made a surprising revelation during the promotion of her new series. In an interview with Bustle while promoting her Netflix series “Nobody Wants This” alongside co-star Adam Brody, Bell confessed that she had no idea where “Gossip Girl” was filmed until recently.

Despite being the voiceover narrator for the series, Bell admitted that she never actually shot scenes with the rest of the cast in New York. When asked where the show was filmed, Bell was initially told Montreal by Brody in a joking manner, before he revealed that it was, in fact, shot in New York. Bell was taken aback by this revelation, acknowledging the significance of New York City as a character in the show.

During the interview, Bell reminisced about her time on “Gossip Girl” and revealed that she had actually met Leighton Meester, who starred in the series, when she guest-starred on one of Bell’s earlier shows, “Veronica Mars”. “Gossip Girl” aired for six seasons from 2007 to 2012, following the lives of privileged students in Manhattan’s Upper East Side whose secrets were exposed by the mysterious blogger, “Gossip Girl”.

In her new series, “Nobody Wants This”, Bell plays a sex blogger who falls in love with a progressive rabbi, portrayed by Brody. The show explores their relationship and the challenges they face from friends and family. Critics have praised the series, with The Independent giving it a four-star review, highlighting its mix of romcom escapism and acerbic realism.

Overall, the interview shed light on Bell’s lack of awareness regarding the filming location of “Gossip Girl” and provided fans with insights into her relationships with her co-stars from the show. Bell’s candid revelation adds a new dimension to her connection with the iconic series and her current projects in the entertainment industry.
