Police in Edinburgh rushed to the scene of an incident on a busy main road after a bus stop was destroyed. The incident occurred around 10.30 pm on September 28, with local officers redirecting traffic at the site. It remains unclear if anyone sustained injuries during the incident. A glass bus stop with a metal frame appeared to have been obliterated in a collision. Onlookers shared images with Edinburgh Live, depicting a damaged bus being worked on by an engineer near the scene. Workers were observed clearing debris, and photographs revealed glass shards scattered across the pavement opposite the BP Petrol Station in Slateford.
