**First Image of Motorcyclist Killed in Tragic A702 Crash Near Scottish Village**

Police have identified Allan Robertson, 58, as the motorcyclist who lost his life in a devastating crash on the A702 in South Lanarkshire. The incident, involving an orange Triumph motorcycle near Elvanfoot, occurred at 12.20pm on Sunday, September 22. Emergency services rushed to the scene, but Allan Robertson was pronounced dead at the site.

Authorities are conducting ongoing investigations into the circumstances of the collision. They are appealing for anyone who witnessed the crash or possesses dash-cam footage to come forward and assist in shedding light on the tragic event. Constable Graeme Marshall from the Road Policing Unit expressed condolences to the family and friends of Mr. Robertson and urged potential witnesses to cooperate with the authorities.
