Police in Paisley are appealing for witnesses after a 67-year-old man was seriously assaulted on Candren Road in Renfrewshire. The incident occurred around 11.50pm on Friday, October 4, prompting a response from authorities. The victim was quickly taken to Royal Alexandra Hospital for treatment of his injuries.
Detectives have since initiated an investigation into the assault and are urging anyone who may have information to come forward.
