Chateau reached out to the theme park to explore ways to enhance accessibility for families with ASN requirements. In response, the company has expanded the range of seasonal activities tailored for ASN families and launched a dedicated website resource page and promotional materials. To further support inclusivity, a British Sign Language (BSL) interpreter will now be present at selected Christmas Believe storytelling sessions.
In addition to these initiatives, M&D’s has been providing complimentary passes for carers accompanying paying individuals who require ASN assistance upon presenting suitable identification. The park has vowed to raise awareness about this service. Jensen Taylor Connelly, director of M&D’s, expressed gratitude to Chateau for her insights and collaboration in striving to improve support for families with ASN needs. Connelly acknowledged that while progress is ongoing, the recent enhancements represent a positive step forward. Future events catering to the ASN community are already under consideration.
