Spirit Halloween is converting some locations into Christmas-themed stores

Spirit Halloween is set to transition some of its locations into festive Christmas-themed stores. The first Spirit Christmas store is scheduled to open on October 18 in Mays Landing, New Jersey, with 10 stores planned to offer winter and holiday-themed items starting in November. These stores will feature a range of products such as gifts, decorations, apparel, inflatables, gifts, and stocking stuffers.

A spokesperson for Spirit Halloween stated that each store will provide a unique shopping experience, including a life-sized gingerbread village where visitors can take photos with Santa Claus. Guests will also have the opportunity to meet Santa for their annual Christmas card photo and receive a free digital postcard. The store will have a mailing system where children can send letters to Santa at the North Pole and discover if they’ve been naughty or nice.

The Spirit Christmas stores will offer families the chance to capture memorable moments with Santa surrounded by oversized presents and gingerbread houses. Some of these stores will be newly opened venues, while others will be converted from Spirit Halloween stores once the holiday season commences.

The move to introduce Christmas-themed outlets comes after Spirit Halloween was lightly mocked in a sketch on Saturday Night Live. The sketch depicted the store in a humorous light, poking fun at their costumes and products. In response, Spirit Halloween took to social media to playfully address the sketch, demonstrating their sense of humour and engaging with the audience.

The interactions on social media following the SNL sketch highlighted the positive response from the audience towards Spirit Halloween’s witty response. Many users found the exchange amusing and praised the store’s social media team for their clever comeback.

As Spirit Halloween gears up for the transition to Spirit Christmas stores, the anticipation for the upcoming holiday season builds among consumers. The festive transformation of these stores promises a magical experience for shoppers looking to embrace the spirit of Christmas.
