Dumfriesshire’s Close Encounters of The Eerie Kind
Award-winning paranormal investigations are set to lift the lid this weekend on the scariest moments haunting the members of the Dumfries-based Mostly Ghostly team. They’ll be sharing some of their unexplained encounters from their supernatural sleuthing over the past 16 years at various intriguing locations, including the A75 haunted highway, the old Mount Sydney Inn, and Closeburn Castle, uncovering chilling and thought-provoking results. The team will be opening their case files in an evening event called Close Encounters of The Eerie Kind at The Brigend Theatre, Dumfries, on Saturday.
Members of Mostly Ghostly, including John Hill, Kathleen Cronie, Mary Wood, and Kenny Murray, will delve into their experiences during the event. They will recount eerie tales from places like Threave House, Garlieston Road, and Lochmaben Castle, where team member John Hill had a spine-tingling encounter near Castle Loch, witnessing a mysterious repeat scene of horsemen and fleeing figures. The team’s founder, Kathleen Cronie, expressed excitement about welcoming guests to reflect on their early days and share insights from their most perplexing cases.
