Interim manager Lee Carsley mentioned that Saka is currently undergoing assessment after feeling discomfort in his leg in the lead up to Greece’s goal. Meanwhile, England’s captain Harry Kane and winger Jack Grealish, who were both sidelined against Greece due to minor injuries, are expected to train on Friday and could potentially feature in the upcoming match.
Carsley expressed optimism about Kane and Grealish’s chances of participating in training on Friday, stating, “We’ll assess them two (on Friday). Obviously, we’ll train in the morning, and hopefully Jack and Harry will take part in that session.”
