Coleen Rooney ‘almost passed out’ after ‘traumatic’ phone call with Rebekah Vardy

Coleen Rooney was left reeling after a ‘traumatic’ phone call with fellow WAG Rebekah Vardy, almost causing her to pass out, the Daily Record reports. The saga, which has been dubbed ‘Wagatha Christie’, unfolded when Coleen publicly accused Rebekah of leaking personal stories to the media. The court recently ruled that Rebekah must bear the brunt of Coleen’s £1.8m legal fees following a defamation lawsuit victory for Coleen in 2022.

Rebekah Vardy, 42, expressed disbelief upon learning of Coleen’s accusations while on holiday in Dubai. She recounted feeling overwhelmed and nearly passing out in a taxi en route to a beach bar after reading the allegations. Despite Rebekah’s vehement denials of any wrongdoing, the court found in Coleen’s favour, with Mrs Justice Steyn branding Rebekah’s evidence as ‘not credible’ and Coleen as an ‘honest and reliable witness’.

In a TV interview with TalkTV, Rebekah shared details of the distressing aftermath of the phone call with Coleen. She described feeling intense dizziness and an adrenaline rush, leading her to nearly black out. The conversation between the two WAGs was described as ‘not very nice at all’, with Rebekah revealing the abuse and death threats her family endured during the legal battle.

Following the court ruling, Rebekah expressed her disappointment and emphasized the toll the case took on her and her family. She called for an end to the abuse they have suffered and thanked those who supported her throughout the ordeal. The ‘Wagatha Christie’ saga continues to captivate audiences with its high-profile drama and legal battles between the two prominent WAGs.
