Three people were hospitalised in a ‘serious’ two-vehicle crash in Kelso as the police appeal for information. The incident occurred around 2:55 p.m. on Saturday, October 12, on the B6350 near the junction for Pinnaclehill Park, involving a grey Ford Fiesta and a grey Audi Q2. Emergency services quickly responded to the scene, with the driver and passenger of the Fiesta, a 21-year-old man and a 22-year-old woman, being taken to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh with serious but not life-threatening injuries. The Audi driver, a 48-year-old man, also received treatment for non-life-threatening injuries at the same hospital.
The road was temporarily closed and reopened around 8:30 p.m. Police Constable Drew Davidson stated, “Our enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances, and we are keen to speak to anyone who saw what happened.” He urged the public, “In particular, if you have dash-cam footage that could assist with our investigation, please get in touch.” Individuals with information are asked to contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident number 2017 from Saturday, 12th October, 2024.
