Kanye West’s former assistant has taken legal action against the rapper, alleging sexual assault that occurred at a party co-hosted by Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs. Lauren Pisciotta, who worked as a personal assistant to West from 2021 to 2022, recently filed a lawsuit with the Los Angeles Superior Court, accusing him of wrongful termination and sexual harassment.
In the lawsuit obtained by the New York Post, Pisciotta claims that Kanye West drugged and sexually assaulted her at a party before she started working for him. She stated that West invited her and another musician client to a party at a music studio hosted by him and Combs. Pisciotta alleged that West insisted everyone keep drinking or be removed from the event. After consuming a drink, she reported feeling highly impaired and unable to remember the remainder of the evening. She expressed feeling ashamed and embarrassed by the incident.
Pisciotta’s companion at the party, who remains unnamed, also felt too traumatised to recall what happened. It was only after Pisciotta was terminated as West’s assistant that she became aware of the alleged sexual assault. The lawsuit details a conversation where West admitted to a sexual encounter with Pisciotta at the party, which he mentioned during an argument with his ex-wife, believed to be Kim Kardashian. West reportedly disclosed details of the encounter to Pisciotta, who asserted she had no recollection of it.
Prior to this latest lawsuit, Pisciotta had sued West for firing her without providing her severance and for sending explicit sexual content. While West has not responded to the recent accusations, his spokesperson previously labelled the initial claims as baseless. Diddy, who was a co-host of the studio event in question, is mentioned in the lawsuit alongside sexual crime charges filed against him. However, Pisciotta did not make any allegations against Diddy in her lawsuit.
Diddy is currently in custody in Brooklyn, awaiting trial following his arrest on charges of sex trafficking and racketeering on September 16.
