A tragic incident has occurred at a wildlife park in Crimea, where a worker was fatally attacked by lions. The worker, whose identity has not been disclosed, lost her life after entering a cage at the Taigan park to carry out cleaning duties. Taigan park, located in Belogorsk, approximately 35 kilometers (22 miles) east of the Crimean capital Simferopol, is known for housing around 60 lions within its expansive grounds spanning more than 30 hectares (75 acres). Visitors to the park can enjoy observing the lions freely roaming about from a safe distance, thanks to approximately 1 kilometer (0.6 miles) of elevated walkways.
