Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs is facing serious allegations from one of his alleged sexual assault victims. The victim claims that Combs violently assaulted her as a form of “payback” after overhearing her suggest that he was involved in Tupac Shakur’s murder.
The lawsuit, filed in Northern California federal court by the accuser identified as Ashley Parham, details a horrifying incident where she was drugged and raped by multiple men in March 2018. Parham had met Combs a month prior through a Facetime call made by one of his friends outside a bar. This call was an attempt to impress others with Combs’ celebrity status. Parham, however, refused to participate in the call after expressing her belief that Combs may have had a connection to Tupac’s murder.
Allegedly overhearing Parham’s comment, Combs reportedly threatened that she would “pay” for her words. A month later, the same friend invited Parham to his home under the guise of seeking help with his cancer medication. This invitation, according to the lawsuit, was a set-up for the alleged assault orchestrated by Combs.
Parham claims that during this encounter, Combs brandished a knife and threatened her by referencing a ‘Glasgow smile’. Subsequently, Combs is alleged to have violently raped her using a television remote control. The assault reportedly continued as multiple men assaulted Parham, leaving her unable to move or control her body.
Despite reporting the rape to several police departments in California, including the Contra Costa Sheriff’s Department, Parham claims no further action was taken by the authorities. She has now filed a lawsuit against Combs and six others for sexual assault and battery, abuse, false imprisonment, and kidnapping, demanding a jury trial.
These allegations come on the heels of six lawsuits filed on Monday, accusing Combs of sexually assaulting two males, including a 16-year-old, and two women between 1995 and 2021. Combs’ legal team has vehemently denied all allegations, stating that he has never sexually assaulted anyone, and believe that the truth will prevail in court.
Combs is currently facing charges of racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking, with accusations of coercing and abusing women over the years with the help of associates and employees. He has been detained at a federal jail in Brooklyn since his arrest.
The lawsuit filed by Parham sheds light on the complexities surrounding the allegations against Combs, painting a disturbing picture of the events leading up to the assault she claims to have endured. As the legal proceedings unfold, the truth behind these allegations will be scrutinised in the judicial process.
