Sky Sports F1 pundit Danica Patrick Joins Drive to Survive as Contributor
Danica Patrick, the well-known Sky Sports F1 pundit and former IndyCar driver, has been revealed as one of the new contributors to the popular Netflix show Drive to Survive. Patrick, who is admired for being the only woman to win an IndyCar Series race, has been a familiar face to British audiences through her punditry role on Sky Sports’ F1 coverage over the past two years. Alongside her, Claire Williams, the daughter of Williams F1 team founder Sir Frank Williams and former team principal of Williams from 2013-2020, will also be sharing her insights in the sixth season of the show.
Both Patrick and Williams, who is 47 years old, will be joining F1 TV presenter Will Buxton as pundits on the renowned documentary series. They take over from Jennie Gow, the BBC Radio 5 Live reporter who decided to step back from the show due to health reasons following a stroke last year.
