Juenessee Malloy, a 35-year-old charity worker, is now the proud owner of a coveted “gold card” from the fast-food chain, entitling her to free food and drinks for a year. Her stroke of luck came through winning a top prize in McDonald’s online Monopoly game.
Juenessee, who hails from the Philippines and has been residing in Scotland for the past five years, expressed her disbelief and elation at winning the gold card. She shared, “I couldn’t believe it when I got a message to say I had won a gold card. I have been eating in McDonald’s since I was 15.” She noted the differences in the menu between the Philippines and the UK, mentioning the abundance of pasta and rice in her home country’s menu and expressing her fondness for the healthier options in the British version, while her children enjoy the Happy Meals.
