Nigel Farage waves to supporters outside court as woman admits throwing milkshake over him

Nigel Farage made a court appearance as a woman confessed to throwing a milkshake at him. Victoria Thomas Bowen, 25, admitted to assaulting the Reform MP by splashing him with a milkshake during the general election campaign outside a pub in Clacton-on-Sea. She also acknowledged causing £17.50 worth of damage to a jacket belonging to Mr. Farage’s security officer, James Woolfenden.

The incident occurred on 4th June when Mr. Farage was leaving the Moon and Starfish Wetherspoon pub in the seaside town of Essex. Initially, Thomas Bowen denied the charges but changed her pleas to guilty at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on Monday before the trial was due to commence. Deputy senior district judge Tan Ikram postponed the sentencing to 16th December.

Despite the court appearance, Nigel Farage showed his gratitude to his supporters by waving outside the court premises. The incident of the milkshake throwing gained attention during the general election campaign, capturing the public eye. The courtroom revelation adds a new chapter to the episode.
