Chinese Culture and Mandarin Introduced at Moffat Academy in Dumfriesshire
Moffat Academy in Dumfriesshire is set to introduce Chinese culture and Mandarin language classes to its students through the addition of two Chinese exchange students. Miss Siyi Li and Miss Zhen Niu will be teaching at the all-through school until June 2025 as part of the Confucius Hub programme in partnership with the University of Strathclyde.
The secondary school expressed excitement about welcoming the exchange students, highlighting the valuable opportunity it presents for students to delve into new cultural perspectives and enhance their language skills.
