Ex-Rangers star, Paul Gascoigne’s daughter, Bianca, has come forward with details of a harrowing sexual assault she allegedly endured at the hands of former Harrods boss, Mohamed Al Fayed. The 37-year-old revealed that the incident took place during her time working at the luxurious London department store. Gascoigne disclosed during an interview with Sky News that Al Fayed had manipulated her by criticising her father, Gascoigne, and positioning himself as a father figure.
She recounted an unsettling encounter when Al Fayed unexpectedly arrived at her Harrods Park Lane apartment and proceeded to make unwanted advances, including inappropriate touching and kissing. Gascoigne expressed feeling shocked and trapped during the encounter, with Al Fayed allegedly issuing threats to prevent her from speaking out. Despite feeling pressured into silence at the time, Gascoigne has since bravely decided to share her traumatic experience in hopes of advocating for other women’s empowerment and preventing similar incidents in the future.
Notably, Mohamed Al Fayed passed away in 2023 at the age of 94. Last month, Police Scotland disclosed that they had investigated a report concerning a “non-recent sexual assault” allegedly involving Al Fayed at his former estate in the Highlands. While the police stated that their inquiries had been concluded, they remain open to further investigations should new information come to light.
